#APPLE MACBOOK PRO 2012 PRICE UPDATE#
Along with Ivy Bridge, the 2012 MBP line gets HD 4000 graphics and USB 3.0 across the board, plus a free update to Mountain Lion when it releases later this summer. The details don’t bring any particularly earth-shattering revelations, with 13” retaining the dual-core processor and integrated graphics, while the 15” makes the switch from AMD to Nvidia’s new Kepler-based GT 650M dedicated graphics.
#APPLE MACBOOK PRO 2012 PRICE PRO#
Basically, it’s just an Ivy Bridge-infused version of the venerable unibody MacBook Pro chassis that we’ve known and loved for the last few years. :)īye, and hoped I helped your computer-buying decisions. With most of the attention from Apple's hardware refresh event centered around iOS 6 and the new Retina MacBook Pro, the updated 2012 edition of the regular MacBook Pro has flown a little bit under the radar. But as always, there's a margin of error, so take what you will from this, sorry to blab your ear off with my dreary attitude and just remember this computer truly is awesome, love it, buy it, take care of it as you would a baby since it will give SO much back to you long-term. Now I don't have any statical analysis so I could be completely wrong here, but I used to work as a computer technician, and when I test something I TEST something so the chances of this battery being bad in any way are doubtful. I hesitate to make such a statement but with no discernible explanation, I'd be lying not to. 5 HOURS later it shut down, I could understand a few minute difference but not 2 WHOLE HOURS, the battery is fully functional I tested it repeatedly after this incident so as far as I'm concerned…….Apple lied. I decided to test the battery, now according to Apple it should last at least 7 hours, running fully, surfing, browsing, editing, well I left the screen at lowest possible brightness closed all applications, and left it alone. Now the only reason I gave it a 4, and it really deserves a 4.9 or 4.8, is battery-wise (this is a brand new computer 12 cycle count beginning day 1 and this is only day 7).
DEFINITELY worth the 1300 I paid for it, very low price for the 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM.Ĭompared to other computers I've had, PC's and Mac's its quite heavy, perhaps because of LCD screen.
Performance wise it rocks, incredible graphics, awesome response time, snazzy apps, no complaints here.
